Use good clamping methods while drilling the attach holes.
We placed a long aluminum tube across two ribs on the horizontal to set your level. 0.0.......perfect
The forward spar attach holes were drilled using a 90 flexible shaft and our drill. We chose this method to avoid the holes in the top of the forward spar.
The aft spar attach holes should end up centered within the tabs. We cut approximately ¾” of tab material off the top.
Mark the spot to drill the rear spar of the horizontal. we also marked the bulkhead attachment to shorten.
We used the procedures outlined in the manual and asked a couple of questions about our horizontal to wing alignment and drilled the rear spar holes.
Drill bits were used per the manual to position the horizontal stab.
